WindowSeat iPhone

There are so many 3G iPhone rumors popping up these days, that I had to take a decision which may seem to be strange for some, but it seems the right thing to me - I'll leave them aside. There is only one week until Steve Jobs' keynote at the WWDC 2008, and we'll talk about the real thing as soon as everything becomes available. Leaving the iPhone behind, there's plenty to do until buying a 3G iPhone, like buying some accessories for your old one, for example. What kind of accessories? Well, I guess Griffin's WindowSeat, the new dock for iPhones and iPod touches may be a good idea for you, and here's why...

WindowSeat iPhone/iPod

The Griffin WindowSeat is a windshield mount for iPhone and iPod, so I can easily keep your gadget in sight while driving your car. Here's the feature list:

- High-grip silicone suction pad attaches to your windshield or other nonporous surface easily and stays put.
- Mounting bracket securely holds iPhone with easy access to dock connector and headphone jack.
- Can be used in conjunction with Griffin Technology’s PowerJolt charger for iPhone, or any other in-car iPhone solution.
- Includes an AUX cable for convenient connection to AUX-In-equipped car stereos.
- Good-looking, durable materials complement your vehicle’s interior and withstand the temperature shifts that go with that environment.
- Quick, secure adjustments to viewing angle with swiveling ball-and-socket joint.
- Included adapter accommodates steeply angled windshields.

Considering the fact this handy windshield mount costs only $30, and will surely be able to hold the 3G iPhone too, I guess you could give it a shot and buy it right now... if you have a car to use it with, of course! ;)
