Top Free iPhone Apps

posted in iPhone, by adimoga

One characteristic of an iPhone, which no other phone or smartphone will be able to equal, is the huge number of applications that are made available for it, via iTunes. Apple supplies its customers with huge  amounts of applications that are donated by the community of iPhone users,  and after these apps are checked and approved, they set a price for it,  which can range from free to few dollars.

Apple's policy is that 70%  of the total earnings from selling an app goes to the application's creator, and 30% remains at Apple. This is not a bad deal if you put in the equation the fact that some apps have total earnings of hundreds of  dollars, and there are currently over 300.000 applications available on  iTunes. What many people like to do, is make application tops, so others  can see what are the best for them. Also, at 300.000 applications  available, it could take a while until you know every one of them, or  until you find one you like if you search one-by-one. In this case, you  can go anywhere on the web, like Google or Youtube, and search for iPhone top applications. Next I will show you how a top like that looks like.

5.Auditorium
This is a music game developed by the people over at EA. Basically, you have this flow of light, which is actually  a music flow, and you  have to control it by using orbs which collect the music and redirect  the beam. So at the end of the level, you have a pretty nice design made by the way in which you have driven the flow, and a nice sound.

4.Twitter
This application is actually a client for the social network with the  same name. Probably the most popular client for Twitter until now was  called Twitterific, but it was bought out by this one, which is an  original twitter client. It has a light interface, easy to use, divided  into certain categories, such as twits, personal messages, settings that  involve your Twitter account, and many more.

3.Skies of Glory
This is a free game application. The subject of the game is  airplanes. What you basically do, is controll an airplane using the  iPhone's accelerometer sensor, so yo have to lean your phone to the  left, in order to make the plane go left, and lean it to the right, to  make it go to the right. It also features an online mode where you can  create or join lobbies, get into dog fights, crash into other plains or  solid things, and many more.

2. Fixter
Fixter is an application that rates and works with movie content. You  can use it to see what movies are playing in different locations at  different hours, what are the top box office releases, movie ratings,  and even watch comment and trailers.
