Tom Cruise Is iPhone Ready

posted in news, by Codrut Nistor

If someone suddenly pushes me into a corner and asks me about Tom Cruise, there are three movies I have in mind: Top Gun, Mission: Impossible, and War of the Worlds. I know those Tom Cruise fans reading this would kill me for my lack of knowledge, but that's better than nothing, anyway. What if I would go "Tom Cruise? Oooh, that guy playing Jesus in Mel Gibson's movie, I know him!," would that be better? Obviously, the answer is negative, and since I am no spy or one of Tom's friends, I have no idea about the phone and portable music/video player he's using, but I know one thing for sure - Tom Cruise is iPhone ready!

While I loved most movies featuring Tom Cruise, I am not such a big fan of any actor, and I usually choose going out have a beer and chatting with my friends, rather than watching a movie, but finding out that Tom Cruise's official website is the most visited official male star movie site on the Web really made me go "Wow!" and reach out for a beer. After all, that would be something to celebrate, right? Unfortunately, no beer available, so let's move on, shall we?

If you don't hate Tom Cruise, I advise you to visit his official site. Why? Well, just watching the "25 Years - Museum of the Moving Image" movie available right on the home page is really worth your time, especially if you're looking at the high quality stream.
So...what are you going to use for browsing this site?

If you have an iPhone...that's exactly where I wanted to get - if you have an iphone, don't worry - TomCruise.com has just been reloaded with all the features needed by iPhone users. In fact, we're talking about the official mobile version targeting iPhone users, so this is the wholse story regarding Tom Cruise and the iPhone.

While this may not be something that big, it's one of the first steps towards recognizing the iPhone as a new popular Web platform. Take it as you want, but I really think Tom Cruise and iPhone fans really need to celebrate this one!(final note: I am not crazy about parties, but I like finding reasons to party in all tech things I pass by)
