The second generation of iPhone

Apple is an electronic and software american corporation. Because of their innovative, easy to use, small and light devices this electronic industry that designs their products in a unique way both in hardware and operating system sides Apple becomes an important and strong player on the electronic industry market. The Apple iPhone is the new generation of mobile phones. It’s a 3 in 1 device that combines hardware properties from 21 century with intelligent operating systems. By using: multiple intelligent sensors, liquid crystal display, camera, Bluetooth, GPU Memory, USB 2.0/dock connector, quad band GPS/GPRS/EDGE, wi-fi connectivity, a good processor and a lot of others hardware elements and difficult software programmes important in order to make the multimedia capabilities, camera, media player, touch screen, text messaging, functions that allow visual voicemail, the internet services that includes e-mail or web browsing possible Apple reinvents the possibility to stay in touch with everyone wherever you are. iPhone became available in 2007, on 29 June and it fast became the most popular and trendy device on all over the world. The news that it supports third-party applications quickly attracted the media and press interest.

This first generation of iPhone that was described by the director of Apple company , Steve Jobs, as “a revolutionary and magical product that is literally five years’ head of any other mobile phone” was a big success. After one year and half from the first generation of iPhone Apple lunch the second generation of this devices. Even if the 3G iPhone had some few problems in the charger and security field, the number of advantages like: Maps applications, Safari applications, e-mail, the most complex web browser from the world, the App Store (third- party application plans) brings this device in the top.



Just when we thought that there is nothing else that a user can actually wish for his mobile phone in march this year Apple presents the new 3g iPhone 3.0. Above all the features that this small device contains the ability to copy and paste really amazed the imagination of these Apple designers. The downloading speed of each web page, the performance of 3D graphic, the ability to copy and paste pictures or text from different applications, the search function called Spotlight, the possibility to acces the internet on MAC or PC with the help of the 3g iPhone and a lot others functions that runs faster than those from the first generation amaze the electronic market in a good way. The new iPhone 3.0 will have the peer-to-peer Bluetooth connectivity, push notifications – receive instant messages, voice communication in applications ( voice over ip services), audio recording, access music from applications, rumbling ( like the console joystick), API ( maps inside different applications).



Apple iPhone 3G will be available till the end of this year in 48 countries including Romania. Orange is the company who will distribute this device which resolves many of the problems from the previous version like: the data speed transfer, the number of wireless frequencies, the possibility to install any programme without the risk of losing the guaranty, the lifetime of the battery, the price, the voice, the GPS support. Disadvantages: Bluetooth incomplete, java application not working.
