There are 3 families of notebooks in the MacBook family, first there is the classic MacBook, the MacBook Pro laptop and also the MacBook Air. They differ from one another in size and thickness (the MacBook Air is the thinnest and lightest) in technical details and in prices. And of course the MacBook Air is the most expensive one. For today we’ll focus on just one of these models, and we’ll choose the MacBook Pro laptop. This is the middle version, so it is not as big as the simple MacBook, but also not as thin as the MacBook Air. It is also less powerful than the Air but less powerful than the classic one and its price is also somewhere at the middle. The starting price for the classic MacBook is 1,000 dollars, the starting price for the MacBook Pro is 1,200 dollars and the starting price for the Air is around 1,500 dollars.

In the MacBook Pro family there are 6 models to choose from and all of them have an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. But they are different from one another in the size of the display screen, and in the rest of the technical details. So now let’s discuss a few words about each model. First there is the one with a display screen of 13 inch and a Intel Core 2 Duo processor @ 2.26 Ghz. This model also has 2 GB of RAM memory, a hard drive of 160 GB, a SD card slot, an NVIDIA GeForce 9400 graphic card and a price of 1,200 dollars. The next version also has a 13 inch display screen, but a better processor (an Intel Core 2 Duo with a speed of 2.53 Ghz). The RAM memory is also bigger (4 GB) and the hard drive has a bigger capacity of 250 GB. The price for this model is 300 dollars more – so 1,500 dollars.
In case you want a MacBook Pro with a screen of 15 inch, you will have 3 versions to choose from. All of them have the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a RAM memory of 4 GB, a SD card slot and a battery which can last for about 7 hours. And now here are the differences between them. The first model has a processor @ 2.53 Ghz, a hard drive of 250 GB a NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M graphic card and a price of 1.700 dollars. The second version has a slightly better speed of 2.66 Ghz, a bigger hard disc of 320 GB, a NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M + 9600 M GT with 256 MB and of course a bigger price of 2000 dollars. And finally the third version has an even better speed for the processor – 2.8 Ghz, an even bigger hard drive of 500 GB and a NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M + 9600 M GT with 512 MB. The price for this version is 300 dollars more – so it costs 2,300 dollars.

And finally there is the most expensive versions of all, one that has the same features as the one we mentioned before - Intel Core 2 Duo processor @ 2.8 Ghz, 4 GB of RAM, 500 GB hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M + 9600 M GT with 512 MB…but a bigger display screen of 17 inch. And of course this is the most expensive MacBook Pro, and it costs an amazing 2,500 dollars. This model also offers you an improved battery and a Express Card / 34 slot.
So here were a few words about the MacBook Pro laptops. In case you too own one of these models, tell us all about them. We wait for your comments and until then, have a nice day!
