For today we’ll discuss more about one of the computers made by Apple, and we’ll choose the 24 inch iMac . this PC has a really cool design, with a large and also slim monitor. It offers a great image in High Definition as well as good colors. This is an all in one computer, so it also comes with a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse. this is actually the first Multi Touch mouse in the world, and it doesn’t have any buttons, because it uses the same technology as the touch pad devices of laptops. So now let’s look closely at the technical details of this 24 inch iMac.
First here are its dimensions:
- Width 22.4 in

It comes with the Intel Core 2 Duo processor with a speed of 2.8 Ghz, multi core technology, 64 bit computing and an installed cache memory of 6 MB. The data bus speed is 1066 Mhz, and the installed RAM memory is just 2 GB of DDR 2 SDRAM. It can be expanded just up to 4 GB, so this is not such a very good thing, especially if you are planning to play complex video games or to perform other complex tasks. The hard drive is a standard serial ATA 300 with a speed of 7200 rpm and a capacity of 320 GB. The optical drive is a DVD ± RW ( ± R DL) and the monitor is a 24 inch LCD display, TFT active matrix with a max resolution of 1920 x 1200. The screen also has an image brightness of 385 CD / m2 and an image contrast ratio of 750 : 1.

The video card is quite ok, and it is an ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with a video memory of 256 MB GDDR 3 SDRAM. It also features 2 built in stereo speakers and a keyboard with an USB interface, and which also contains 2 other USB ports. The mouse is an optical one, and the PC also has Ethernet and AirPort Extreme connectivity for easy access to the internet. Who Designed The iPod

Most of the people today, and especially the younger ones have used, or at least seen…or at least heard about the iPod. It is a portable music player device which is produced by the Apple company. It was launched in 2001 and since then it had become more and more popular with millions of copies sold all over the world. Actually it is the best selling digital music player in history, with more than 240 million copies sold.

In time there had appeared different versions of the iPod, and today you can choose between the iPod Classic, the iPod Nano (a video capable iPod), the iPod Touch (which has touchscreen capabilities) and also the iPod Shuffle (the smallest iPod which doesn’t even have a display screen). Each of these products has its own features and some of them can store many other kinds of files, and not just music. For example you can store videos, games, pictures, calendars, e-mails and others. There are many versions available for each product, depending on the size of their memory. And this size can range from 2 GB for the iPod Shuffle to as high as 160 GB for the iPod Classic. So this means that you can store thousands of songs, as well as other types of files.

Many years ago people were using the walkman if they wanted to listen to music while being somewhere else rather than at home. Those devices were using cassette recorders, which had a capacity of just a few songs, and later one there appeared the audio CD players and later on the mp3 players. The older ones (the walkmans or the audio CD players) were really big and heavy, but Apple totally changed this when it launched the iPod. Not only that it looks good, but it is also much smaller and lighter and it can easily be carried in the pocket.

In the year 2000 most of the electronic devices markets were full, and there were all sorts of products made by many different companies. But this wasn’t the case on the market of portable music players, so Apple decided to try something new here. After just one year of research, a team composed of Jon Rubinstein, Tony Fadell and Michael Dhuey managed to invent this great device called the iPod. So in case you were wondering who designed the iPod, now you know the answer.

No other similar device managed to have such a great success as the iPod, and this will probably not happen very soon. The iPod has established its own market, and so many people are trusting this brand, that they won’t even think about buying a product from a different company. Instead of spending their money on who knows what cheap and weak music player, people prefer to gather more money and buy an iPod.

So here were a few things about this wonderful device, and about its history.  Now you know how it looks, you know who designed it so all that you can do next is go to the nearest store and buy one. Or in case you already own one, you can write us all your opinions about it. We wait for your comments and until then, have a nice day!

15 Inch MacBook Pro

Apple is a big multinational corporation from the United States of America  and it makes all sorts of electronic devices. Some examples would be: computers, laptops, music player devices, mobile phones, computer software and others. Apple was founded in 1976 in Cupertino, California and since then it had grown bigger and bigger. Today it has more than 280 subsidiaries in many countries of the world, and it sells millions of products each year. Some of its most famous products would be: the iPod, the iPhone, the MacBook laptop, the Mac operating system or the iStore

The laptops are getting more and more popular these days, and here are just some examples of companies that are making them: Hewlett Packard, Acer, Asus, Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, Fujitsu, MSI and Apple. Apple is among the best producers of laptops in the world, and even though its products are much more expensive compared to others, they are still really popular. Usually the Apple laptops have a very slim and lightweight design, and they are also colored in white. So this makes their design really unique, and you can easily recognize an Apple laptop when you see it.

For today we’ll discuss more about one of the models made by this company, the 15 inch MacBook Pro. In the MacBook Pro family you can find 3 different models with a display screen of 15 inch, 2 models with a screen of 13 inch and also one with a screen of 17 inch. Most of the features of these models are the same, but of course there are some differences too. Some have a better processor speed, or a bigger hard drive or a better graphics card.

The first model of 15 inch MacBook Pro comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with a speed of 2.53 Ghz, a RAM memory of 4 GB RAM, a hard drive of 250 GB, a SD card slot, a built in battery which has a battery life of 7 hours and also a NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M video card. And the price for this model is 1,700 dollars. So it may already look really expensive, but this is only the first model, which is the cheapest. The next one also has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, only that this one has a better speed of 2.66 Ghz. The RAM memory is also 4 GB RAM, it also has a SD card slot and a battery which can last for about 7 hours, only that its hard drive is bigger and it has a capacity of 320 GB. The video card is also better, and it has a NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M + 9600 M GT with 256 MB of video memory. This model costs 300 dollars more, so its price is exactly 2000 dollars. And finally the most expensive model which costs some extra 300 dollars (so its price is 2300 dollars), has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with a speed of 2.8 Ghz, also 4 GB of RAM memory, a much bigger hard drive of 500 GB, also an SD card slot and a battery of 7 hours. The video card is also improved video and it has a NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M + 9600 M GT with 512 MB.

So depending on the features you are searching for, and the amount of money you are wiling to spend, you can choose one of these three models. You can buy one from any official store of Apple, but you can also find them on the internet, on many sites that are offering really good deals. So this is why it is recommended to always make some research on the market before buying a laptop. Have a nice day!

Apple IPhone 3G 8GB

Apple is a large multinational corporation and it produces all sorts of electronic devices, such as computers, laptops, mobile phones, music players devices and also computer software. Its headquarters is located in California, United States of America  and it has around 280 other subsidiaries which are located all over the world. It sells millions of products each year, and some of the most famous Apple  products are: : the MacBook laptops, the iPods and iPhones or software products like the iStore or the Mac OS X operating system.

For today we’ll focus on just one of the products of this company, and we’ll choose the Apple iPhone 3G – 8 GB. This is an advanced mobile phone, one with many features and advanced technologies. So this is why it is also more expensive than the classic mobile phones. But even though it is not expensive, it is still really popular, and used by many people all over the world. It can work as different devices, such as: a digital camera – so you can take pictures and movies and share them with your friends and also as a music player, being able to play different kinds of music files and videos. You can also use it for browsing the internet and chat with friends, browse different web pages, send e-mails, find out the weather, search for maps through GPS and so on.

In case you are a little behind with the latest technologies in this domain, when first seeing the iPhone you might wonder where is its keyboard. Well…it doesn’t have one, and this is because it has a multi touch screen, so all you need to do is use one finger and touch the desired icon from the screen. When you want to write messages or dial numbers you will see a virtual keyboard on the screen, so you will be able to write letters and numbers. The first iPhone was launched in 2007, and since then it developed more and more. The next model was launched in 2008 and it was the iPhone 3G, and the next one launched in 2009 was the iPhone 3GS. The iPhone in general had a really big success all over the world, and as a proof, until the beginning of 2010 it was sold in more than 42 million units.

So now let’s discuss some more about one model, and we’ll choose the Apple iPhone 3G 8 GB. The dimensions for this model are 4.5 inches (115.5 mm) H x 2.4 inches (62.1 mm) W x 0.48 inch (12.3 mm) D and a weight of just 4.7 ounces (133 grams). So it is not really big or heavy, so that you can easily carry it in your pocket or in your purse. It is colored in black, and as you can notice from its name it comes with a flash drive with a capacity of 8 GB. And this is quite really good for a mobile phone, meaning that you can store hundreds of songs, pictures, videos, documents and so on. It has a display of 3.5 inch in diagonal, and as we mentioned earlier it has Multi Touch capabilities. The resolution of this display screen is 480 x 320 pixels @ 163 pi. The technical details for the connectivity are:
 -UMTS / HSDPA (850, 1900, 2100 MHz)
-GSM / EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
- Wi-Fi (802.11 b / g)
- Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR wireless technology.

So the wireless connectivity is similar to that found on a laptop, meaning that your speed on the internet will be really good. Just like a laptop it also has a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery  which can be charged from an outlet, but also from the computer via an USB cable. This battery can last for about 300 hours in stand by mode, and for up to 5 hours when you are connected to 3 G and up to 10 hours on 2 G. So it may not be so much, but it’s the same for all the smartphones on the market. So one of the downsides of having a smartphone is that you will have to recharge it every day. It can last for 7 hours when playing videos, and for about  7 hours when playing audio files. Its integrated camera is quite ok, and it has a resolution of 2 MP.

It can work on temperatures from 32 “ to 95 “ F (0 to 35 C) and a relative humidity of 5 to 95 % noncondensing, and its maximum operating altitude is 10.000 feet (3.000 m). so you can even take it with you when climbing on a high mountain, and it will still work.

The audio files that is supports are: AAC (8 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), HE - AAC, MP3 (8 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, 4, Audible Enhanced Audio, AAX, and AAX +), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV. It also comes with a set of headphones, which are quite good and have a frequency respons of 20 hz to 20.000 hz.

The prices for an iPhone can vary, depending on the features it has and on the store where you get it from. Usually when buying one from the internet you will get much more cheaper. The iPhone with a memory of 4 GB can cost somewhere around 499 dollars and the one with a memory 8 GB can cost around 599 dollars.

Apple is a large and successful producer of electronic devices, and it offers many famous products all over the world such as: the iPod, the iPhone, the iPad, the MacBook laptop, the iMac computer, the iTunes online store or the MAC OS X operating system. But for today we’ll focus just one the laptops made by Apple (the MacBooks), and we’ll discuss more about the MacBook Air.

There are three series of laptops from the MacBook family, and they are: the classic MacBook, the MacBook Pro and also the MacBook Air. The last of them is the best model, and also the most expensive one. It is a really slim and elegant laptop, which also has very advanced features. It has a weight of just 3 pounds, and a thickness of just 0.16 to 0.76 inch. Even though it is so slim, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t solid. It is made out of a solid sheet of aluminum, so it is quite resistant.

It is made with a unibody design, which offers you a clean and seamless appearance. Being so small and so light you can take it practically anywhere you go, and use it anytime you need it. It has a display screen of 13.3 inch in diagonal which offers bright and rich colors. The maximum resolution supported by this screen is 1280 x 800, and it has the LED technology which makes it more efficient. So the battery life will be longer too. It has a full size keyboard, and the keys are also backlit, so that you can see what you type when it’s dark. And of course, it also has a trackpad with Multi Touch technology.

This model doesn’t just look good, but it is also powerful, having good features and advanced technologies included. You can choose between 2 models, both with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, only that one of them has a speed of 1.86 Ghz and the other has a speed of 2.13 Ghz. The RAM memory isn’t the best one on the market, but you can’t expect for more from such a slim laptop. It has a 2 GB DDR 3 memory. The graphics engine is good too, and the Apple MacBook Air comes with the NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M video card. The battery has an ok life and it can last for up to 5 hours. Being so slim, it doesn’t have a classic hard drive like the others laptops do, but it has a Solid State Drive of just 120 GB. This is for the first model, and the other one has a hard of 128 GB. It has most of the ports you might need, including a headphones jack, an USB port and a Mini Display port. It has both wireless 802.11 Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity for easy access to the internet, and it also has Bluetooth connectivity.

And now let’s look at the complete technical details for the MacBook Air with the Intel Core 2 Duo @ 1.86 Ghz, which has a price of 1500 dollars. Its features may not look so powerful for this really big price, but let’s not forget that it is one of the slimmest laptops on the market:
-Enclosure - Precision aluminum unibody
-Processor 1.86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
-L2 cache 6 MB shared
-System bus 1066 MHz
-Memory 2 GB of 1066 MHz DDR 3 SDRAM onboard

-Hard drive 120 GB 4200 rpm Serial ATA

So here was a short review of the Apple MacBook Air. In case you too own this slim and elegant, yet powerful laptop, tell us more about it. Are you happy with the way it looks and works? Do you think it is worth 1500 dollars? We wait for your comments…until then, have a nice day!
