So for today let’s discuss about the other one, the Apple ® - MacBook ® Pro / Intel ® Core ™ 2 Duo Processor / 13.3 " Display / 4 GB Memory / 320 GB Hard Drive, Model: MC 375 LL/A. the differences between these 2 models are not that big, but there is quite a big difference in price, and this model costs 1,500 dollars.

This model has the Intel ® Core ™ 2 Duo processor which features a 1066 MHz frontside bus, 3 MB shared L 2 cache and a 2.66 GHz processor speed. As we said earlier it has a 13 inch display screen. To be more precise this is a 13.3 " widescreen LED backlit display with a 1280 x 800 resolution which offers good images. The hard drive of this Apple laptop has an good capacity of 320 GB and a speed of 5400 rpm, while its graphics engine is the NVIDIA GeForce 320 M graphics which features 256 MB DDR 3 SDRAM. And since you have access to the internet, you can also video chat with friends and family thanks to the built in webcam with microphone that it has. It measures just 1 inch thin and has a small weight of 4.5 lbs, so it is highly portable. It has many features and technologies such as: a photo camera, text messaging, a touch screen display, visual voicemail, a portable media player, internet client with e-mail, web browsing and Wi-Fi connectivity. The first model that was launched was the classic iPhone, but since 2007 there were 3 more versions released. The second model was the iPhone 3G, which came with extra 3G capabilities, the third one was the iPhone 3GS which had a better camera and a better processor, and the latest model is the iPhone 4 which was released just a few months ago in June 2010.

In the previous article we gave you the complete technical details for the first version, so for today we’ll discuss more about the second one – the Apple iPhone 3G which was launched in 2008. Its 2G network features are: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 while its 3G features are:   HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100. its weight is just 133 games while its dimensions are: 115.5 x 62.1 x 12.3 mm. it has a 3.5 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 480 p and 16 m colors. It has practically unlimited entries and fields for the phone book and it records up to 100 received, dialed and missed calls. Depending on the model you choose, it may have an internal storage capacity of 8 or 16 GB and a RAM memory of 128 MB. It doesn’t have a card slot, but 8 or 16 GB is quite enough for most of the users. The connectivity features are: GPRS, EDGE, 3G HSDPA, WLAN ( Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g) , Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and also USB 2.0. its camera has 2 MP and a resolution for the pictures of 1600 x 1200 p.

The Apple iPhone 3G price may differ from one store to another, and also it may depend on the network and on the plan that you choose. Some stores sell it for 100 dollars, others for 200 while others are offering it for free, with a contract of 2 or 3 years. But anyway today the iPhone 3G is not produced anymore, being replaced with the next versions: the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 4. so now you can only find it as an used model.

In the previous articles we discussed about the bigger laptops produced by Apple (and by big we mean that they have a large display screen of 15 or 17 inch). So for today let’s discuss about one of the laptops with a smaller display screen from the same company, and we are going to choose the 13 inch MacBook Pro. Actually there are more laptops which have a display screen of 13 inch, so for today we’ll choose this specific model – the Apple ® - MacBook ® Pro / Intel ® Core ™ 2 Duo Processor / 13.3 " Display / 4 GB Memory / 250 GB Hard Drive – Aluminum, Model: MC 374 LL/A.

Like all the other Apple laptops it is quite expensive, having a price of 1,200 dollars. It comes with an ok processor, the Intel ® Core ™ 2 Duo processor which features a 1066 MHz frontside bus, 3 MB shared L 2 cache and 2.4G Hz processor speed. We said “ok” because this processor is not the best one on the market, and there are new models from Intel which are much better. And these are the Intel ® Core ™ i3, Intel ® Core ™ i5 and Intel ® Core ™ i7. the RAM memory is 4 GB of DDR 3 SDRAM, which can be expanded up to 8 GB. Even though it is a small laptop, it has a good optical drive – a slot loading multiformat DVD ± RW / CD - RW SuperDrive with double layer support which records up to 8.5 GB of data or 4 hours of video using compatible DVD + R DL and DVD - R DL media. The display screen is a 13.3 " widescreen LED backlit display with a 1280 x 800 resolution. The hard drive of this Apple laptop offers quite a good storage capacity of 250 GB and it has a speed of 5400 rpm. The graphics card is good too, and it is a NVIDIA GeForce 320 M graphics which features 256 MB DDR 3 SDRAM. It also has stereo speakers, support for DVI, VGA, dual link VGI and HDMI connectors.

This 13 inch MacBook Pro also has a built in media card reader, a Fire Wire 800 port and 2 high speed USB ports. The connectivity details are: built in high speed AirPort Extreme wireless LAN card (802.11 b / g / n), built in 10 / 100 / 1000 Base - T Gigabit Ethernet LAN with RJ 45 connector as well as Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. It even has a built in webcam with microphone for video chatting on the internet. It is a small laptop, with a weight of just 4.5 lbs and it measures just 1 inch thin.

So it is quite portable, and can be easily carried around. It comes with an installed version of the Apple operating system – the Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and also with some other specific programs of Apple: iTunes, Time Machine, Spotlight, Quick Look, Spaces, Dashboard, Mail, iChat, Safari, Photo Book, Address Book, QuickTime, iCal, DVD Player, Front Row, Xcode and iLife (iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD, iWeb, GarageBand). And finally this laptop is also Energy Star qualified, so it uses less energy and it meets strict energy efficiency guidelines.

So here was a short review of this Apple MacBook Pro with a display screen of 13 inch. In case you own any of the laptops produced by Apple, we invite you to share your opinions with us. Until then, have a great day!

The iPhone is a internet and multimedia enabled smartphone design and sold by the company Apple. This device was released in 2007 and it has many functions and features, such as: a photo camera, text messaging, visual voicemail, a portable media player, internet client with e-mail, web browsing and Wi-Fi connectivity. It is built with a multi touch screen, and has a virtual keyboard instead of a physical one. You can also install many applications on your iPhone and you can download them for free from different sites or buy them from the App Store, which has more than 200,000 of them. Among these apps you will find games, GPS navigation programs, social networking apps, apps for music, movies, celebrities, weather, sports and so on.

Since 2007 there were made 4 generations of the Apple iPhone : the first one was the simple iPhone, the next one was the iPhone 3G which added 3G cellular network capabilities, the next was the iPhone 3GS which added a compass, a faster processor, and a better camera which also included video. And the newest model, the iPhone 4 was released in June 2010, and it features 2 cameras for video calling and a higher resolution display.

But for today we’ll discuss more about the initial Apple iPhone, the one that was released in 2007, and we’ll look closely at its technical details. As we said, the first model didn’t had 3G connectivity, and it had just 2G, with these features: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. it had dimensions of     115 x 61 x 11.6 mm and a weight of 135 g. it also has a 3.5 inch TFT touchscreen, with 16 million colors and a resolution of 320 x 480. this screen also has an accelerometer sensor for auto rotate, a proximity sensor for auto turn off and a scratch resistant surface. For the alerts you can use polyphonic ringtons, mp3 songs or you can set the vibration function. It also has a 3.5 mm headset jack for listening to music. The phone book offers practically unlimited entries and fields, and it records 100 received, dialed or missed calls. You can choose between an internal memory of 4, 8 or 16 GB and it doesn’t have a card slot, so the memory can’t be expanded. That’s why it would be best to buy a version with at least 8 GB. It has GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN (Wi Fi 802.11 b / g ) and also Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. It doesn’t have infrared connectivity, and it can also connect to a PC through an USB cable.

It works with the iPhone OS platform, and it has an ARM 11 412 MHz processor and a PowerVR MBX Lite graphics card. The internet browser that it uses is the Safari and unfortunately it doesn’t has radio. But it does has JAVA games that can be installed and played. It has a Lithium Ion battery  which lasts for up to 250 h in stand by mode and up to 8 h when talking. In case you just want to play music, you can do this for 24 hours.

So here were a few words about this great smartphone. In case you own any of the 4 generations of iPhone, we invite you to tell us all your opinions about them. We wait for your comments, and until then, have a nice day!

In the previous article we discussed about one of the 2 Apple MacBook Pro laptops with a 15.4 inch  display screen, and for today we’ll discuss about the second one. As we  said, the first one has an Intel ® Core ™ i5 processor and a price of  2,000 dollars, while the second one has the best processor on the market  right now – the Intel ® Core ™ i7. and of course the price for this  model is bigger, and it costs 2,200 dollars. This really good processor  has a 4 MB shared L 3 cache and 2.66 GHz processor speed and 8 way  processing for ultimate smart performance.

It has a  RAM memory of 4 GB DDR 3 SDRAM, which can be expanded up to 8 GB. The  optical drive is a slot loading multiformat DVD ± RW / CD – RW  SuperDrive with double layer support which records up to 8.5 GB of data  or 4 hours of video using compatible DVD + R DL and DVD - R DL media. As  we said the display screen has 15.4 inch in diagonal, and it is a  widescreen LED backlit display with a 1440  x 900 resolution for great  images. Its hard drive has a good capacity of 500 GB and a speed of 5400  rpm. This model also has 2 video cards, an  NVIDIA GeForce GT 330 M and  an Intel ® HD graphics. The first one features 256 MB GDDR 3 video  memory with automatic graphics switching. So you can use the powerful  video card only when you really need it, and in rest of the time use the  integrated one, in order to save the battery life.

The laptop also has  stereo speakers, support for DVI, VGA, dual link VGI and HDMI  connectors. It has a built in media reader too, a Fire Wire 800 port and  2 high speed USB ports. For connectivity it has: built in Bluetooth 2.1  + EDR wireless interface, built in high speed AirPort Extreme wireless  LAN card (802.11 b / g / n) as well as built in 10 / 100 / 1000 Base - T  Gigabit Ethernet LAN with RJ4 5 connector. And since you can easily  access the internet, it also has a built in webcam and a microphone for  video chatting online. It measures just 1 inch thin, and has a small  weight of 5.6 lbs, so it is quite portable.

It  comes with an installed version of the Apple operating system – the Mac  OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, as well as some other programs used by this  company, such as: iTunes, Time Machine, Spotlight, Quick Look, Spaces,  Dashboard, Mail, iChat, Safari, Photo Book, Address Book, QuickTime,  iCal, DVD Player, Front Row, Xcode and iLife (iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD,  iWeb, GarageBand). And finally it is also Energy Star qualified so it  uses less energy.

So here were a few words about the second Apple 15.4 inch MacBook Pro. after  all these 2 models are really good laptops, but also really expensive  ones. You can buy a laptop from a different producer, with just about  the same features for half of this price (about 1,000 dollars). So after  all it is up to you to decide if you really want to have an Apple  product, or do you stick with a Windows laptop like most of the people.
