Apple  is a large multinational corporation with the headquarters in  California, United States of America and it produces different types of  electronic devices and computer software. Some of the most famous  products of Apple would be: the digital music player called iPod, the  iPhone smartphone, the Mac computers, the MacBook laptops, the iTunes  media browser, the Logic Studio music software and so on.

For  today we’ll focus on just one of these products – the MacBook laptop.  There are three different series – the classic MacBook, the MacBook Pro  and the MacBook Air, and each model is available in different sizes of  the display screen, and with different technical details. They can have  different processors, beginning with the older Intel Core 2 Duo to the  newest versions, the Intel ® Core ™ i3, Intel ® Core ™ i5 and Intel ®  Core ™ i7.

The 15 inch MacBook Pro Intel ® Core ™ i7 was released in April 13, 2010 and a release date for the 17 inch MacBook Pro Intel ® Core ™ i7 is not known yet. But you can buy a 17 inch MacBook Pro (which normally  has the Intel ® Core ™ i5), and choose an optional Intel ® Core ™ i7  processor, or you can buy a 15 inch MacBook Pro with the Intel ® Core ™  Intel ® Core ™ i7, and optionally choose a display screen of 17 inch.

And for  today we’ll discuss more details about the Apple MacBook Pro with a 17  inch display screen and the Intel ® Core ™ i5 processor. Since the Intel  ® Core ™ i5 and i7 are the best processors on the market right now, any  laptop that has them is quite expensive. And considering that the Apple  laptops are usually very expensive, if combining these 2 factors you  will get an Apple MacBook Pro, Model: MC 024 LL/A with a price of 2,300  dollars. We already mentioned what processor it has, and it features a 3  MB shared L 3 cache and a 2.53 GHz processor speed. The RAM memory is  pretty good too, with 4 GB of DDR 3 SDRAM.

It has a good optical drive  too, the slot loading multiformat DVD ± RW / CD - RW Super Drive with  double layer support which can record up to 8.5 GB of data or 4 hours of  video using compatible DVD + R DL and DVD - R DL media. as we said the  display screen has 17 inch, and it is a 17 " high resolution widescreen  LED backlit display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution.

The  hard drive offers plenty of disc space, and it has a large capacity of  500 GB, with a speed of 5400 rpm. This laptop has 2 graphic cards – the  NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 512 MB GDDR 3 video memory and also an  Intel® HD graphics, with automatic graphics switching.

There are a few more features to be said about this laptop, but we’ll let you discover all of them here. Have a nice day!

Who Invented The Apple iPod

Most of the people these days, and especially the younger generations own (or at least seen) an iPod. It is a small portable music player which is made by the Apple company. it was initially launched in 2001 and since then it had sold millions of copies all over the world. It is actually the best selling digital music player in history, with more than 240 million copies sold so far. Today there are many versions of the iPod, such as: the iPod Classic, the iPod Nano (which is a video capable iPod), the iPod Touch (which has a touchscreen display) and the smallest one which is the iPod Shuffle.

Each of these products has its own features, and some of them can also store and open other types of files such as: videos, games, pictures, calendars, e-mails and others. But of course they all have the basic feature, the one that they were invented for, which is playing music. They can have different sizes for the internal memory, and this can be from as low as 2 GB for the iPod Shuffle to as high as 160 GB for the iPod Classic. So you will be able to store thousands of songs and other files.

Many years ago people were using walkmans for listening to music wherever they were going. Those devices were playing the music from cassettes, and a cassette could store just a small number of songs. Later on there were made the audio CD players, and a CD could store just a little more songs than a cassette. In time the technology evolved and there were launched the MP3 players, which could store many more song. But not only that they can store much more songs, but they are also much smaller. The walkmans and the audio CD players were quite really big devices, unlike the MP3 players and the iPods which are really small, and they can easily be carried in your pocket.

In 2000 most of the electronic markets were filled, and there was a wide range of products to choose from, from many producers. But it was not the same on the market of portable music players, so Apple decided to try something here. After one year of research they came up with this great device called the iPod. The team the developed it was composed out of Jon Rubinstein, Tony Fadell and Michael Dhuey. So in case you were asking who invented the Apple iPod, now you know the answer.

No other similar device had such a big success as the iPod, and this thing won’t happen very soon. Many people trust this product, and the iPod has somehow managed to establish its own market. Many people prefer to spend some extra money and buy an iPod, instead of buying a much cheaper and weaker product from a different company.

So here was a short review on this great device and on its history. So now you know hot it looks and what is capable of doing, and you also know who created it, so all that is left to do is for you to go at the nearest store and buy an iPod, and enjoy all your favorite music. Or in case you already own one, you can write us all your opinions about it.

The iPods are very popular devices that are used by teenagers from all over the world. They are small and portable music players that are capable of storing hundreds or even thousands of songs. The iPod was launched in 2001 by the company Apple, and since then it became more and more popular and demanded by people of all ages.

Today there are many types of iPods, and some of them cat store other types of files, not just music files. Any iPod has a set of headphones which you can use to enjoy the music. But with the headphones only you can hear the sound, and in some cases you may want to share the music with others. So in this case you have to use some iPod speakers.

These are small and portable devices that have a docking place for the iPod (or iPhone). So you just place the device in that place and then the speakers will play the music from the iPod. There are many models of iPod speakers on the market, and most of the big audio producers are offering some. Today we’ll discuss about some mini iPod speakers produced by Altec Lansing, and we’ll choose the speaker called “moondance GLOW”. This is not just a simple device with 2 speakers it is also an alarm clock with a snooze function.

The design is quite simple and elegant so it will fit anywhere in your room, and not only. Since it is a portable device you can take anywhere you want and enjoy the music from the iPod. It is compatible with most of the iPod models and it also has a built in FM radio. So if you are bored with all the songs from the iPod you can choose to listen to a radio station. You can rely on this device to wake you up in the morning thanks to its dual alarm feature, and the best thing is that you can wake up on the sound of your favorite music or radio station.

This device will offer you a clear and rich sound, that will have all the sound frequencies. It even has some colored displays, and you can change the color and intensity according to your mood and to the light from the room. It also has an enhanced remote which allows you to have total control over the volumes, tracks, alarm, radio and all the other functions. And it also has onboard controls, in case you are sitting close to the device. You can connect it to a iPod or iPhone, but thanks to its aux input you can also connect it to other music sources such as CD, DVD or MP3 players.

Inside it has two 3 inch full range drivers, and the total dimensions for the device are: 12.2 ” (W) x 3.1 ” (D) x 5.3 ” (H) - 310 mm (W) x 80 mm (D) x 136 mm (H). When buying this speaker here is what you will receive in the package : the Moondance Glow speaker system, an enhanced remote, a wireless snooze remote, an FM Radio antenna, the Power adapter, some miscellaneous adapters for iPod and also the user’s guide.

So here was just an example of some speakers that you can use for the iPod, but of course there are many more others from Altec Lansing and from other companies too. In case you own some of them, we wait for your comments about them. Have a nice day!

In previous articles we discussed about some of the Apple MacBook laptops, and we focused more on the middle series – the MacBook Pro. So for today we’ll discuss more about one of the models from the top series – MacBook Air.

The MacBook Air laptops may not be the best ones at technical details, but they are definitely the slimmest of all Apple laptops. And of course they are also very expensive. For today we’ll discuss more about the Apple 13.3 inch MacBook Air laptop, the MC233LL/A model, SKU: 9391277 which has a price of 1,500 dollars.

You may expect to get a very powerful laptop for these money, but its features are not quite the best on the market. But as we said earlier, this is a really slim and light laptop, so it wouldn’t even be possible to have very powerful features. It has the Intel ® Core ™2 Duo mobile processor with 1066 MHz frontside bus, 6 MB shared L2 cache and a 1.86 GHz processor speed. So it may not be the best processor on the market right now, but it is still a good one, that will handle most of the computer activities. The RAM memory is also ok, and it has 2 GB of DDR 3 sdram. Since it is such as slim and light laptop, it doesn’t even have an optical drive. So in case you really need one, you can use an optional MacBook Air USB double layer DVD ± RW / CD-RW SuperDrive. As we said the screen has 13 inch in diagonal, and to be more precise it is a 13.3 " widescreen LED backlit display with a 1280 x 800 resolution to bring your games and movies to life.

Its hard drive may not be really huge, but it offers an acceptable disc space of 120 GB and a speed of 4200 rpm. Even though it is such a slim laptop, it still has a good video card. And this is the NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M graphics with up to 256 MB DDR 3 SDRAM shared video memory and support for DVI, VGA, composite and dual-link DVI.

It also has 2 high speed USB ports, built in Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR wireless and built in AirPort Extreme wireless network connection (802.11 n). it also comes with a built in webcam with microphone and stereo speakers. It has a multitouch trackpad device, one that has features like: 2-finger scrolling, pinch, rotate, swipe, tap, double tap and drag. As we said earlier, this is a really thin laptop that measures just 0.8 inch thin and has a weight of just 3 lbs. it comes with an installed version of the Mac OS X 10.6 Snow leopard operating system, as well as some other installed programs: iTunes, Time Machine, Spotlight, iChat, Safari, iCal, DVD Player, Front Row, Photo Booth, Xcode Developer Tools, iLife '09 – which has the iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD, iWeb, and GarageBand). And finally this laptop is also Energy Star qualified, so it uses less energy and it meets strict energy efficiency guidelines.

So here were a few words about the Apple 13.3 inch MacBook Air laptop. In case you too own this laptop, we invite you to tell us all your opinions about it. Are you happy with the way it looks and works? Do you think it deserves 1,500 dollars? Or would you rather buy a laptop that is bigger, but which also has much more powerful technical details? We wait for your comments, and until then have a nice day!

Apple MacBook 13Inch

Apple is a big multinational corporation which produces all sorts of electronic devices and computer software. You have probably already heard about some of its products, but you probably didn’t know that they were made by Apple. Some examples would be: the iPod, the iPhone, the Mac computers, the MacBook laptops, the Quick Time player, the Mac OS X operating system, the Logic Studio music software and many more others. But for today we’ll focus just on the laptops produced by Apple, which are called MacBooks.

There are 3 types of them: the classic MacBook, the MacBook Pro and also the MacBook Air. They come with different sizes and technical details, but all of them have the same design. For the display screen there are 3 sizes to choose from: 13.3 inch, 15.4 inch and 17 inch. And each one of the three types of MacBooks we presented earlier is available in each of the three sizes, and some models may also differ from one another in other technical details such as the processor, the hard drive or the video card.

So let’s discuss more about one of these models, and for today we’ll choose a classic Apple MacBook of 13 inch. Since the simple MacBook is the first model of the 3, and the size of 13 inch is the smallest one, this model is the cheapest. It is cheap compared to the other models of MacBooks, but it is definitely not cheap compared to other laptops from other companies that have the same screen size. And the price for this MacBook is exactly 1000 dollars…and a good 13 inch laptop from another company can cost half of this – 500 dollars, or even less. But after all it is an Apple product, one that uses the Mac OS X operating system, which is quite different and also better than the Windows.

So if you want to benefit from all the features and technologies offered by an Apple laptop, you will have to pay more. But now let’s look closely at the technical details of this 13 inch Apple MacBook. It comes with the already classic processor, the Intel ® Core ™ 2 Duo processor which features a 1066 MHz frontside bus, 3 MB on chip shared L 2 cache and a 2.4G Hz processor speed. It may not be the best on the market right now, but it is still a good processor, one that will support most of the computer activities. The RAM memory is quite ok, and it has 2 GB of DDR 3 SDRAM, which can be expanded up to 4 GB. Its optical drive is a slot loading multiformat DVD ± RW / CD - RW Super Drive with double layer support which can record up to 8.5 GB of data or 4 hours of video using compatible DVD + R DL and DVD - R DL media.

As we said it has a 13 inch display screen, to be more precise a 13.3 " widescreen LED backlit display with a 1280 x 800 resolution, for good images. Its hard drive is quite spacious, offering you plenty of space to store many types of files. Its hard drive has a capacity of 250 GB and a speed of 5400 rpm. The video card is good too, and you can even play some video games on this laptop. It has the NVIDIA GeForce 320 M graphics with up to 256 MB DDR 3 SDRAM shared video memory for impressive images, and support for DVI, VGA and dual link DVI outputs. It has just 2 USB ports, built in Bluetooth wireless interface  and also a built in webcam with microphone for video chatting online. For connectivity it uses built in high speed AirPort Extreme wireless LAN card (802.11 a / b / g / n) as well as built in 10 / 100 / 1000 Base-T Gigabit Ethernet LAN with RJ 45 connector, so that you can access the internet with or without wires.

Since it has a small display screen, it is also a small laptop and it weighs 4.7 lbs and measures just 1.1 inch thin. It comes with an installed version of the Mac OS X 10.6 Snow leopard operating system, and it is also Energy Star qualified, so it uses less energy and it meets strict energy efficiency guidelines. Enjoy it!
