Maybe trying to contact NVIDIA's customer support would give you some hints, because I didn't hear anything about the cards for older Mac Pros yet. On the other hand, maybe your Mac would be able to accomodate a HD 3870 or even a X2 version of that card...but that's again something you should ask Apple or AMD's customer support. Good luck!
