Now that we have the iPhone 3G and new iPods all over the planet, and a lot of iPhone 3G problems, too, the time is right for the new Macs to arrive, don't you think? Just a warning, before moving on - this is, as you can probably imagine, just a rumor for now, since there's nothing new regarding this topic on Apple.com, and the Cupertino-based company didn't come out with any official declaration about it yet, either.

So...what are we talking about here? No, it's not the (amazing, otherwise) computer pictured above, since that is only a "future Mac" concept created by somebody outside the company, but I am sure we'll get to see such a beauty coming from Apple in the next decade. Anyway, this is not about what I think, so here's what I heard - some anonymous employee of Canada's FutureShop, a BestBuy subsidiary, sent a shot to MacRumors showing six place holders for new Macs listed in their inventory system.
The image hasn't been yet independently verified, and no additional details are known yet, but this seems pretty obvious - Apple will show up with no less than 6 new Macs by mid-October, as far as I can tell. This could also happen in a few days, but I wouldn't bet my money on that.
I know 6 seems a bit too much, but think about this = 6 new Macs would mean 3 new MacBooks, and three MacBook Pros, or maybe three MacBooks, two Pros, and even one updated MacBook Air, if we get lucky...
I don't know about you, but what I would really like to see is a black MacBook Air. Apart from being black, I would also enjoy A LOT to see it...cheaper, obviously! ;)
