An year ago some rumors appeared on the Internet about the iPhone nano product released by Apple. Later they turned to be fake, in the aspect that Apple did not release this kind of iPhone, but legend seems to be still alive, and now it revived in the market. There are various forms of the iPhone on the online market, and they origin is for sure Asia. These forms of iPhone are tiny in size when compared to the original Apple product, and vendors sell it as the iPhone nano or iPhone mini.
All the products available on the market are successful fakes, which are using the Apple name for selling a product which has been copied. It is obvious that Apple would have sustained a real campaign if they wanted to release a mini iPhone, and actually, Apple Inc. declared that they do not have an intention of introducing such a product on the market, at least in the near future. These mini replicas mimic every part of the original product, and they copy everything beginning with the design and ending with the form factor, including the logo and the icons' design in the main menu.

Apple would not consider such a device for the consumers, because creation of this product would require a whole innovation process in the basic technology, and reconstruction of the whole product. Another disadvantage would be that the display will shrink its size, and this is currently the only unique hardware of iPhone which makes it better than the other touchscreen smartphones on the market. Consumers are advised to purchase the original iPhone products, because they might get a mini iPhone and they will find out that the operating system has bugs, or that the hardware component doesn't have the same high quality as the original products have.

The mini version is called Meizu M8 and it first appeared on the Hong Kong market. This smartphone is two-thirds of the size of the normal iPhone. Even if it is called mini iPhone, it has no features like multitouch, 3G, access to the AppStore, iTunes or other Apple media sources. It has no internal storage and it relies on a microSD slot card for storage. It is actually a dual-band phone which has offers the possibility to use two SIM cards, which has a 2.4 inches display and you can use a stylus for the touchscreen.

The packaging suggests just a ripoff. The price tag is around $107, and this is a WOW for iPhone users, because it is quite high for the quality of the mini smartphone. A very interesting component of the purchasing package is the phone sleeve, which has a Acura (a car company) logo on it, and under the logo is written iPhone and this is only a true sign of a fake product. It is not at all a good deal, but gadgets hunters might want to have the mini iPhone in their pockets next to the original one, and I understand their desire, because it is a special device, but the quality is fishy and this mini iPhone is a bad replica of the original iPhone.
