Sometimes happens that randomly you spill the water on your notebook’s keyboard which touches the logic board. For this process you have to prepare an ESD mat, an ESD strap, a screwdriver and a paper because you must write the screw’s proper places. The step number one is to place your device on an electrostatic ESD mat. After you have inserted the mat’s cable into the electrical outlet you have to touch a metal surface in order to discharge the static electricity. This process it is very important because you will work with the internal components and only in this way you can avoid shocking. The step number two is to remove the battery with a flat stick which you have to insert into the battery bay. After you have removed the three screws which holds the L shaped bracket you can take out the RAM sticks. The step number three is to disconnect the outer and remove with the screwdriver the 2nd, 4th, 7th and 9th screws which are situated at the computer’s front side. Then you have to remove the bottom case, too. For this process, don’t forget to remove the screws from the USB port’s side. The step number four is to disconnect the optical drive from the logic board. Before this you have to disconnect with the black stick the computer’s case.
Then you have to remove the fan, too. For an easy replacement you have to remove the three screws which are holding the accessory. The step number five is to unscrew the two screws which are located at the Airport card’s top side. In order to repair the computer’s logic board you have to use the 00 screwdriver in order to unscrew the screws which are situated and cover the headphone and USB connections. After this process you have to remove the metal bracket. The step number six is to take out the battery connector which is connected to the MacBook’s logic board. Finally, remove the display bracket and don’t forget to take out all the cables which hold the logic board. After this process you can insert the new purchased logic board and you have to follow the instructions in order to install it correctly.
