Unfortunately, the feature list on the Klipsch Website doesn't say much, but here it is:

- Streamlined design with premium sound
- Balanced full-range armature driver
- Tuned bass-reflex system
- Instant seal, superior noise isolation
- Compatible with iPods®, iPhones™ and other portable devices
The idea behind this new Klipsch product is to help dropping the in-canal earphones by using a slightly thicker design, with a housing 2mm (0.08in) wider than the original Image X10, so the components used inside can be far less expensive, but sound quality remains the same. Even more, while the previous model's sound pushed forward low frequencies, the Image X5 is more balanced, with stronger treble and mid-range frequencies.
While the new Image X5 buds are supposed to be flexible and more reliable than before, thanks to the unique form of silicone ear tip and cable "tails" that reduce stress on the line, I hope they also come with a lifetime warranty. Why? Well, I wouldn't expect less, considering the X5s are expected to start shipping in late June, with an insane $250 price tag!
