iTunes Live

posted in news, by Codrut Nistor

Music, as we know it, would be nothing without live recordings. How many times did you end up in a "concert" where the artist was doing playback? No, don't answer that, better try to answer this one - what do you think about live concerts? I know, some people may not like live recordings, but that's life - you can't keep everyone happy. For the rest of us, Apple has a unique event approaching, and now there are only 26 days and 1 hour until iTunes Live kicks off!

iTunes Live Event

This is what the iTunes Live London Festival '08 website says: "From July 1st 2008, iTunes takes over London’s legendary KOKO for a month-long extravaganza of live music. iTunes Live: London Festival ‘08 will feature exclusive gigs from international acts such as N*E*R*D and James Blunt as well as hot up and comers such as Hadouken! and The Ting Tings. Each performance will be recorded and made available for sale on iTunes."

As you can see on the website, the tickets to the festival are free, but only available to competition winners. "What competition?" Between the 1st and 28th of July, there are a lot of artists scheduled to perform, starting with N*E*R*D, and ending with Pendulum, but if you want to win, you have to enter your data to a lot of contests. Practically, you have to place a contest entry for each day, so get busy here and now. Good luck!
