According to a recent job announcement, Apple is looking to add a camera to the future iPod Touch. As more sources noticed, the job posting for a "Camera Project Manager - iPhone" also included a reference to the iPod, and now this is gone.
The reference I mentioned appeared briefly, in the following phrase: "The iPhone Engineering Group is looking for a Camera Engineering Project Manager (EPM) to drive the design, development and integration of camera modules across iPhone and iPod."
Some consider this to be clear evidence that the iPod Touch will get a camera. If they would ask me, I'd really like to see it having a FM tuner, and not a camera, but I guess I'm not the one to say what is cool and what is not...
...because there always have been better things than Apple's players, only that Apple's marketing division owned everyone else, and that's the big secret behind the huge iPod sales. Should we get ready for some iPod Touch camera? I guess we should, but that doesn't mean we'll also get a better iPod Touch.
