Why iPhone video editing, can you tell me? If I would see a friend of mine doing such a thing, I'd kick him and tell him to wake up - smartphones are NOT video editing machines! Of course, if you really want to waste your time, you can give iPhone video editing a try, but that doesn't mean I'll ever fall in love with such unnatural practices...
Enough of my ramblings now - after all, you're here to find out something about iPhone video editing, right? Good, because the news is good - the iPhone 3.0 will include video editing tools! This is an older rumor, but now we have some new pieces to add to the puzzle.
The pieces of the puzzle that I am talking about are some graphics elements spotted inside the iPhone 3.0 firmware, the last Beta released for developers last month, to be more accurate.
After messing with the firmware files, a German developer spotted some art resources clearly pointing at editing and scrubbing, as well as clip functions that will probably be implemented in the final version of the iPhone 3.0 firmware.
As a final reminder, you should remember that, last month, an "Upload my Video" button has been spotted by Engadget Mobile in the MobileMe area of the iPhone 3.0 firmware. Now, we need to wait some more...and raise our expectations barrier higher.

i'd rather like editing videos on Mac or PC firstly, then dl the output files to iphone, it's much easier and faster...
