As usual, things are pretty clear - according to Net Applications' February report, the iPhone is a real killer. Come on, more than 8 times the percentage of the next platform? This is in-sane, I tell you - I-N-S-A-N-E!!!
If you don't like to stare at numbers written using small fonts(I hate this!), here's the info from the graph above - the iPhone has no less than 66.61% of the total mobile browsing market, followed by Java ME, with 9.06%. All the others have less than 7%, with Windows Mobile, Android and Symbian grabbing over 6%, and Palm, BlackBerry and BREW crawling in the back, with slices of the big pie of 0.51% to 2.37%.
To me, the most amazing part of this report is the fact that Google's Android managed to climb right behind Windows Mobile, while seeing Apple's iPhone right on top of it all wasn't quite a surprise, but that impressive percentage managed to surprise me.
These being said, I hardly wait to see next report, because I think Android could surpass Windows Mobile by the summer's end. Well, at least that's what I think, but if you know better, don't be shy and drop a comment below!
