iBank 3 Got Updated

posted in software news, by Codrut Nistor

Look, I finally found one piece of "iSomething" not belonging to Apple, and still not targeted by any trial coming from the Cupertino giant! Banking for Macs, that's what I am talking about here, and the name of the application is - obviously - iBank.
iBank 3 Updated

If this sounds like something new to your years, then let me tell you that iBank was one of the runner-up apps for the Best Mac OS X Leopard Application in the 2007 Apple Design Awards, so if you're looking for a personal finance product, you should check this Quicken competitor, I can assure you it's worthy of your attention.

iBank 3 is a Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard app, and version 3.4.2 comes as a free update to iBank 3 users, while new ones will have to pay $60 to use it after the trial period ends.

Some of the most interesting features of iBank 3 are listed below:

- Interactive Graphs
- Cover Flow for Transactions
- Sync With Your iPhone
- Smart Portfolios
- Stock Performance Graph
- Tax Support
- Standard Reports

iBank 3.4.2 can be downloaded from the official product page, where you'll also find some older versions for Mac OS X 10.2, 10.3, and 10.4, as well as user manuals and a free widgets pack and some sample scripts.

Oh, yeah - one more thing! The program is currently available in English and French, and you'll need at least 512 MB of memory and 30 MB of disk space, while the minimum screen resolution needed is 1024x640. That's it, folks!
