The basics features include messages, calls, e-mail, typing, copy/cut/paste and more. Let’s start with the messages: everyone knows how to type messages on a phone, but iPhone is smarter than that because it gives you the possibility to select individual messages or phrases from a text message conversation and you can send them to another friend via text message.
To do that you have to open a copy/cut/paste conversation and select the edit option on the top right of your screen. The next step is to check the messages you want to send, select the forward option and then select a name. The messages will be sent to that contact or if you want to delete them, you have to select them and tap the delete button.
The e-mail feature of the iPhone works as the one you are used to with little changes. For example, you can send up to 5 pictures at once in a single e-mail. To do that you have to go to photos and select the ones you want to share with your friends. After that you have to press the share button and the e-mail. That is all!
The iPhone gives you the possibility to type in many applications, but no matter what kind of application you are using you can undo the typing by shaking your device. If you changed your mind and you want the text back, all you have to do is to shake the phone again.
iPhone also has great copy/cut/paste feature that gives you the possibility to cut, copy or paste text. For example, you can copy a text from the web page or from any application and paste it into your e-mail or notes. To copy a text you can to double tap a word and then highlight the text you want using the blue markers. After that, the phone gives you two options: copy and paste, choose the one you want and then paste the text in your e-mail or text by double tapping the area.
Another great feature of iPhone is the landscape keyboard. This helps you type easier and faster in all typing programs like Messages, Mail and Notes. Voice Memos are other cool features of iPhone. The application allows you to record audio and then share the files or edit them. To record you have to open the Voice Memos application and click on the record button, then tap on the button on the right of your screen to see the previous recordings. To see more options you have to select the blue arrow and to edit the audio files you have to select the “Trim” option.
