If you wondered how to copy pictures to an Apple iPhone, take your time and read the next lines, because when you get used to it, doesn’t seem so complicated. The first thing you need to have is the latest version of iTunes and if you don’t have it, you can download it from Apple’s official website.

After you downloaded iTunes and installed it on your personal computer, you have to connect your iPhone to your PC using the cable and the USB connection. When you connect your iPhone to your computer, the iTunes opens automatically.
You can sync photos into iTunes from your folder of photos or from other applications. If you are using a PC you can view pictures in the following formats: BMP, PNG, GIF, TIFF and JPEG and if you are using a Mac you can view pictures in the next formats: BMP, SGI, PNG, PICT, GIF, JPG 2000, TIFF and JPEG.
After you open iTunes and select the device you have (iPhone or iPod), you have to select the Photos tab from the main iTunes window. After this step you have to select the “Sync photos from” and the select the folders with your pictures. You have two options; you can select Choose Folder (if you have a personal picture folder) or My Pictures (if you have here the picture you want to import).

After you selected the folder you want, you can choose to sync “All the photos” or you can choose “Selected folders” if you want to sync a particular subfolder. After this click OK and the Apply, and this is how you copy pictures to an Apple iPhone.
You can also import videos and music on your device and the first step to do that is to open iTunes and select your device from the Devices list (if you have an iPhone select iPhone and if you have another device select that device). After that you have to select the “Summary” tab and then click on the “Manually manage music and videos option”. Click on the Apply option and after this step you can add the files you want to import into your iPhone.
As we said above the firs step is to add the music or the videos you want into iTunes and then you have to drag them to the iPhone icon. This icon can be found on the left-hand side in the Devices list of your iTunes application.
