Happy Birthday, Apple!

Exactly 32 years ago, on the 1st of April 1976, apart from the April Fools' Day, something very important happened. Well, maybe it wasn't important back then, but this even grew in time, as the company founded in that day became more and more important for everyone...

Happy Birthday, Apple!

Obviously, I am talking about Apple. 32 years ago, Steve Jobs, Ronald Wayne, and Steve Wozniak founded Apple, with the purpose of selling the Apple I personal computer kit, hand-built by Wozniak in the living room of Jobs' parents' home. Priced at $666.66, Apple I went on sale in July 1976, quickly followed by the Apple II, in March 1977. The rest of it is already history.

I won't tell you any stories, but I think there is one fact that you have to remember about Apple and their early days - "When we started the little partnership, it was just like, Oh, this will be fun.We won't make any money, but it'll be fun," this is what Wozniak says. In the end, it seems they ended up making money AND having fun, and that's what we all must remember - if your job is fun, money will arrive, sooner or later...and if this doesn't happen, at least you had some fun trying to get rich!
