German is a pretty tough language. Most people agree with this, and I was also one of them for a long time. Fortunately, I finally managed to overcome the ancestral hate anyone has for foreign languages that seem impossible, and now I really enjoy hearing German. Sometimes, I even understand it, although I couldn't answer too much questions if a German speaker would come to me and ask something...

Anyway, the idea is that a lot of things are easier than they seem to be, and German language is one of them, at least for those familiar with English. If you don't believe me, then you should go grab some "German for Beginners" book and try to discover this language!
Fortunately for the iPhone and iPod Touch users, German for beginners also comes as an app for their devices, so there's really no excuse left to avoid it, not even the "I don't need it!" one, because "knowledge is power" should say it all.
German Course 1.0 is the German for beginners guide you can get for your iPhone or iPod Touch for a mere $4.99, but after 25 new lessons arrive in the pot, it will rise to $7.99.
There's not much to say about the features of this program, since knowing that "The course material was written by Judith Meyer, host of the popular educational podcast GermanPod101." should be enough, I guess...
All you need is a device(iPhone or iPod Touch, obviously) using the OS 2.2.1 or later, and the will to kill...errr, learn German. The last thing to do? Well, just go to the Apple iTunes App Store and grab the program, of course!
