As advertised by Steve Jobs himself, the newest Apple tablet, the iPad, is supposed to be a very revolutionary product that will provide you with the best web experience ever. Not to mention it was created as a hybrid, as a missing link between smartphones (aka the iPhone) and personal notebooks, such as iMacs or AirBooks, MacBooks.

The gadget was released on the market at the beginning of April with a high enthusiasm, and judging by the fact that it sold no less than 300000 coies in the first day when it was available in local stores, one might think it was a big hit. Sure, there are pleanty of technology addicts and Apple fans that would spend their money on everything that is fresh released on the market, but besides those, there are still pleanty of regular people that did pay at least $600 on a device that I'm not sure about how useful it really is, in the end. Besides the fact that is a very fast link between you and the internet and that it looks pretty cool, as something those ones from Star Trek would use, I really don't see too many of the advantages. Sure, the impressing desing, the glossy finishings, the curvy edges, its lightness and the fact that is ultra slim would be reasons to buy the product, in terms of actual technology and utility, the first generation of iPads can be improved. In the first place, yes, it lacks an USB connection which already cuts many of its auxiliary functions and uses, making it only compatible with other Apple devices. Also, some really annoying things about the present iPad is that it doesn't support flash and it has no multitasking. In a more understandable sentence, this means that you will not be able to see certain videos and perform certain tasks that require flash, nor you could do more than only one thing with the device. And, on top of that, it doesn't even have a camera! I sure hope this lacks are from material purposes only that will justify second generations of iPads that will "fix" all these additional misunderstandings.

All in all, from my point of view, I would at least wait a couple of months more until I decide to personally purchase one of these devices, as I'm sure following generations will come up shortly.
