If you have deleted by mistake some files and you need you need to get them back here are some software applications that can help you. If the files you have deleted are in the Trash Bin you can, also, get them back (because the information and the date is recoverable even if the memory space is now free to use).

The Main Window of the application is the starting point for the file search. The window has 3 options:

iPods can be found in many types with many hard drive variants, you can find iPod with 10GB or up to 160GB and in many shapes: iPod Nano, iPod shuffle, iPod Classic and iPod touch.

In the next lines we will give you the iPod instructions to see how they work and what type of features connect them.

Let’s start with iPod Shuffle, the only iPod that does have an LCD display. This is the easiest iPod to use, with only a few buttons. To Play or Pause a track on your iPod Shuffle you have to play the Play/Pause button, and if you pause a song the status light of your iPod Shuffle blinks green for 1 minute. To turn of your iPod you must set the switch the Off button and if you keep your iPod in your packet and you are listening to any song and you don’t want to press accidentally a button to have the possibility to disable the buttons – for this you must hold and press the Play/Pause button for 3 second, the status light will then blink orange 3 times to let you know that buttons are disabled.

And if you do this operation again you will the status light blinking green –this mean that you have enabled the buttons. iPod can play the tracks in the order you imported them into it or it can play them in a shuffle mode, to change between this options you have to set the switch to shuffle or to play in order.

If your playlist has ended you can go at the beginning of the list by pressing 3 times the Paly/Pause button. If you want to rewind or to fast-forward a track you can do that by pressing Previous/Rewind button or Nex/Fast-forward button.



We all have a favorite song and if you want to hear your favorite song over and over again you can do that by pressing once the Previous/Rewind button and if you want to hear again the previous song you have to press twice the button.

The volume change is made by the Volume Up or the Volume down button.

iPod Nano is the next in line, it has a lot more options and more instructions. To turn on your iPod Nano you can press any button and to turn it Off, you must hold and press the Play/Pause button. The iPod Nano can be reseted, if your iPod doesn’t respond you have to set the Hold switch to Hold and turn it off. Then you have to press the Center button and the Menu for about 6 second and your iPod will be reseted. iPod Nano can also disable the buttons as iPod Shuffle can, and to do at your iPod Nano you set the Hold switch to hold until an orange bar appers.

To choose an item from the menu you have to scroll to the item you want to select and then press the Center Button. You can play, pause or browse for a song – to do this last feature you have to choose Music from the main menu, choose Music and then search for the track you want. You can also browse for Videos – you can do this by choosing Videos from the main menu and then search the video you want.



This iPod is able to play the tracks in random order as iPod Shuffle can and to do that you have to go to the main menu and them select Shuffle Songs option. If you want to go back to the main menu you must hold and press Menu.

To play a video or a song you have to select the file you want to play and the press Play/Pause button or the Center button.

The iPod Nano gives its users the possibility to make a playlist with the songs from its memory, to do that you must select the songs you want to add on your playlist and then press and hold the Center button until you see the tracks title flashing.

The Click Wheel when you scroll through the menu is clicking to let you know that it is working. You can set off the sound of the click or you can sent in to the headphones or speaker: to set it off you must go in the main menu, choose setting and then set the cliker to Off, if you want to hear the click in the headphones do the same but set it to headphones and the same thing to the speaker.

The iPod classic has almost the same instructions as the iPod Nano has with a few display and software differences. The both iPods work in the same way.

iPod touch as the same says it, doesn’t have a lot of button on it; iPod touch is all about the touch screen and the icons. You will find only two buttons on it: The sleep/Wake button and the Home button.



You will find many icons on iPod touch: a lock icon which shows that your iPod touch is locked, a WiFi icon that is telling you the iPod touch is connected to a WiFi network, a play icon which shows that a song is playing and if you set an alarm you will se an alarm icon and also a battery icon that shows you the level of the battery

The iPod touch allows you to create 9 screens: to do that you must drag a button to the edge of the screen until you will see the new screen. To switch between the screens you have created just flick right or left. iPod touch is a very complex mp3 player and controls on the screen depend on the task you are doing. To open an application all you have to do is tap it. Drag your finger down or up on the screen to scroll, if you found what you are looking for just touch the screen anywhere you want to stop the scroll.

The iPod touch gives you the possibility to zoom in or out when you are viewing web pages, e-mails, maps or photos. To zoom in you must tap your finger twice very quickly and to zoom out tap them again.

iPod touch has an onscreen keyboard, this is helping you a lot when you are texting or you are writing an e-mail. When you are editing a text you can magnify what you are writing by touching and holding the part of the text you want.
