Contrary to the popular belief, best IT job is not to be system administrator of a network where nothing happens for weeks, and you can easily browse the Web or play Counter Strike while being paid for that time. Sooner or later, such jobs are being phased out, and - even worse - some software developers will also lose their jobs in the months to come. The good part is that Mac developers seem to have best IT job you can find these days, and by "best" I don't mean "best paid job," but "safe job."

The idea is that statistics are really scary, since no less than 38% of US companies will find some system administrator to fire. Heh, that would be good to hear for the other IT people, but the system admin is just another IT guy of those who will be bailed out, since there are a lot of disposable heroes everywhere, believe me. After all, we're not talking about CEOs here, but the good part is that a recent study shows that Mac developers are having the best IT job!
How's that possible? Well, look at that 38% I mentioned, and look at the 17% companies looking for Mac developers, compared to only 5% recorded last year. The conclusion? If you're not a Mac developer yet, do your best to become one, and quick!
At last, it should be noted that only 38% of the US companies intend to hire new people, down from a previous 52%, so... let me say it again - no matter if you love Macs or not, the Mac developer way may be the best path to follow to get out safely of this crisis...
