The game original name was the Diamond Mine and it was created as a web-based game. The name so popular nowadays was suggested by Microsoft because the original name was too similar with an already exiting game – the Diamond Mines

The objective when you are playing Bejeweled is to be able to swap a gemstone next to one with the same feature and to make a vertical or horizontal chain which is made from 3 gemstones. If you make a chain with more than 3 gemstones with the same, you will get bonus points.  When you make a chain you will see that the chain is going to disappear and other gemstones fill in the gaps. The game is over when you don’t have any move to make.

Bejeweled Twist is the latest version from PopCap. The first difference between this game the other two is that Bejeweled Twist is not available for Mac users, but we hope it will be soon. If you have a Mac and you want to play it you can try CrossOver Games, Parallels and Boot Camp.

You have 4 modes in this game: Zen, Challenge, Blitz and Classic. In the Classic mode you will see gemstones bombs from time to time and if you want the bombs to disappear you will have to match them.  The Blitz mode is a time mode, you have 5 minutes to do as many point as you can. Zen mode is the one when you won’t have to worry about the booms from Classic mode. Challenge mode, as the name implies, is the most challenging one because you will have to pass a number of tasks, for example you will have to match 8 gemstones in one move.

The goal of the game is to make a very high score and, of course, to keep you entertained.  To make this thing happen you have to find the most effective way to play it and the best way is the practice.   Bejeweled Twist has the same matching experience and with a new and exciting method of play.
