No matter if we are speaking about the iPhone 3, 3GS or 4, the only image that comes right in front of our eyes is the image of a smartphone with a great design.
Of course that if we try to “stare” a little bit at this image we can start finding others things too that are making part of this landscape. But let’s start with the beginning.
Because Apple is a brand that has created its huge name over two things, design and quality, it would be almost impossible to just fail regarding the iPhone. And they didn’t. In the shortest time possible, the device has become the most wanted phone among the phone users and of course, Apple fans. This is why the overall image that the iPhone has is a very god one. Nice design, slim, easy to wear, friendly interface, Retina display and all of the features that can be found on each iPhone, have become something natural for its users. Even if the price is a little bit spicy, just like in the case of every device from Apple, it deserves every penny.
But, if we take a closer look at the landscape, we can actually see that the perfection is not that “perfect”. There are some flaws that of course can be forgiven, if you are a big fan or if they don’t disturb you too much. Here, I speak about the fact that the Apple engineers have concentrated themselves more on the design and the features, and less on the capacities of the device as a phone. It may sound a little bit odd, but if you already had an iPhone, you will probably have already noticed the quality of the call, which could be improved. The robotic sound or the stuttering of the voice during the call, are a little bit annoying if you desire an accurate sound. But again, this is like taking a picture of a countryside house and wondering about the withered grass around it.
Maybe, in the future, with the release of the iPhone 5, which is really expected, things will go a little bit better and from the smart device, it will be able to be called, a smartphone with all the letters. Even if I sound a bit critical, I believe that these ideas are not only mine, and are also desires of the iPhone users. And, like they say, the critics are constructive, so let’s hope that this new device will bring a new brand image of the iPhone, not speaking about another quality level.
