Even if the Apple brand has a huge number of fans thanks to its great variety of qualitative products, there are also complaints about them, and I hope that they will be constructive also. In this article, I have decided to talk about the complaints regarding the iPhone, which is actually the most common device from Apple nowadays.
The main complaints I have heard about the iPhone are about the quality of the calls. Users speak about the fact that the voice is heard in a robotic way, a little far from the real sound. Others just complain about the fact that during the calls, the phone just stops working, closes for some seconds and then it gets back to live, but they lose their call, which it’s quite annoying especially when you are in the middle of an important call. These complaints are mostly general for the models 3G, 3GS and iPhone 4, but for the last one, they are just a little bit softer.
Another complaint regarding the phone is related the antenna problems. Users say that they have signal at one moment, and in the next few minutes the whole signal is off, and the network disappears, like they were in a area without signal, without actually being. If I would have to speak about a real complaint I have recently see, I would talk about the iPhone 3GS of one of my friends, that in the last 3 months had an issue with the battery, which was dying from time to time, even if the phone was recently charged. This appeared to be a flaw of the phone, because technically no problem was reported to the battery, especially because of the fact that the phone was used only for 5 months. If I would want to make a little joke I would say that fancy gadget, fancy problems, but if you take a close look at all these problems, they just appear to melt a little bit the myth of the perfect phone with the perfect design. Maybe these issues are going to be fixed for the new iPhone 5. Maybe these are only, let’s say, “bugs”.
But the only certain thing is that they are annoying at a certain moment because we are not talking about a scratch or something that can be ignore, but about the functionality of the phone which is practically the most important. But who knows? Maybe this is what makes the iPhone to be perfect through its imperfect nature.
