I am on my 5th iPhone 3G. Is anyone else having issues with the battery heating up to the point of not being able to touch it and also a battery that might last 4-5 calls which are approx 3-4 mins long before the battery go into the red and needing a recharge. I was told to do a hard start on the phone and this does not correct the problem but does seem to extend the battery a slight bit without the heat up. Now get this. AT&T claims there is nothing they can do about the issue but you are locked into a contract with them for the usage of the phone which the iPhone with it's issues limits you on usage? I used to have T-Mobile with 1600 mins and 250 texts for less then this phone that I cant use more then 200-300 mins without issues. Now I'm not sure about a lemon clause but Apple seems to correct the problem with referbished phones. What happened to my New Phone or did I just pay for a lease on a referbed phone? I'd love to hear from others on this and if anyone has filed a lawsuit claiming the same issues please drop me a message
Thanks

I am on my second 3g Iphone under warranty - which cost me 31 dollars and a 399 dollar hold on my credit card untill apple gets the broke one back... why do I hv to pay 31 dollard for a REFURBED IPHONE... hmmm I am paying 4 the Fedex shipping fees.... now this iphone is going back to apple due to more problems,, I asked for a refund, and I was turned down - but they will send a BRAND NEW IPHONE - with no charges but they need the credit card numbers etc so they could hit me up for 399-usd If I did not send the broke one back... I understand that - no problem - just get a receipt from Fedex that U did drop it off to them.. then apple says U R OFF THE HOOK THEN... Time will tell... hope I get a good Iphone this time.... wish me luck.... I want a Blackberry BOLD... anyone want to trade ???? duhhh
