About GPS And The Genial MacBook

How many of us would want to have an electrical device with large screen to display the map we need when we travel? GPS systems have long become a commodity, not a rare accessory. But GPS such as Garmin or other have small screen and they can not display all the details surrounding area. We all know that are much easier to use than paper maps. It is disastrous to drive and search on the paper map in the same time, to get to the unknown location.  Why MacBook and why not other laptop? Apple products have a 'special feature' and always attract attention. MacBook is a stylish 13-inch laptop that weighs just over 2 pounds, not a "monster" of four or five pounds. What is known is that it was not yet invented a version of Apple MacBook which has built-in GPS. But there are other alternatives. One of them includes download certain software on your MacBook area offering information about routing and mapping. There are many programs and applications that can be found on various websites. Some of them you can download free, some not. You just have to read their comments, user reviews in order to see which fits best with  the Apple MacBook we have.

Another alternative would be to buy a GPS device and connect it to your Mac. But there are many GPS devices which can’t run on the MacBook. Perhaps if you run Windows on your Mac, it might work, like for example the Delorme software. It makes a GPS that connects to a laptop for navigation issues. Some GPS devices connect to your Mac through Bluetooth or specific cables.

There are many models from where you can choose. A GPS device highly suggested is for example, Garmin Mobile PC. It offers a lot of information needed when it comes to unknown road, or the shortest path to destination. Whatever you choose, the important thing with GPS and Mac is that we could update the maps or make changes. One of the best options in this case is to run Bootcamp or parallel so you can load it to the GPS. Parallels are a virtual machine. You don’t have to do any partitioning of your OSX system to install parallels.
