Like every product made by a human, even the mighty MacBook have some problems and bugs.  Yet, there are some simple steps to make to solve them.

The MackBook Pro model is stylish and lightweight, in contrast with its predecessors, using an unibody construction, but deeper and wider thanks to its widescreen. The touchpad was also been enlarged making the scroll and interacting with it, method also known as multi-touch, more easier and attractive. Turn it on

However, if you want to set your Mail to check for itself new messages, choose from Preferences, Check for new mail.
