For most people and their money, Apple TV is  the best choice for media extenders. The only problem before at this adapter it was the missing of a remote. The Logitech Harmony remote works pretty fine with the Apple TV device, the only problem been that it is too small and it is easy to be lost.

Logitech Harmony Remote is an assembly line of remote controls made and sold by Logitech, made for an universal purpose.  They was created in 2001 by Easy Zapper, a Canadian company and released in November, same year.  After its success, the company changed its name into Intrigue Technologies and its base to Ontario, Canada. In may 2004 it was sold to Logitech for 29 million of dollars.

Their first product, Harmony 360, was configured to work with the 360 Xbox Console and had special buttons and media center controls right under the LCD display. They started after the release of the Harmony 510 model to produce remotes for the universal use. The last released in the Harmony line was the Harmony One model, on January, 2008. It features a touch color display and it is rechargeable. As the most reviews said, this model is one of the best universal applicability remotes commercialized today.

The software used on this remote allows the persons who is using it to update  and reconfigure, learn new IR command lines and upgrade the firmware.

Elder versions of this software, present on the early models of the remote were only browser based. The new ones use Java as foundation, but they still need uninterrupted connectivity to internet for properly work, because their control codes and lines are downloaded from Logitech, admitting upgrades to the device's database and to the codes and serials. This will allow to Logitech to study the market to decide and check the future upgrades , so that they will cover with next models all user's necessities.

The control software from Harmony remote is agreeable with Mac OS X and Windows, but a group of researchers and developers are working to an operating system for Linux platforms.

The reviews for this universal remote are mostly optimistic and favorable. CNET networks, a  media company from California, said about this product that is one of the excellent jobs in this domain because of its ergonomically and cosmetically design, its perfect shape for the hand, its back lighted buttons and, of course its functionality, precisely accurate for Apple TV.

To make this remote work with the Apple device you can follow this step -by -step guide, developed by users. After hours of trying to make the work properly, they found out that this is quite simple.

If you figure that it would be more simple just to memorize IR commands for  every single setting you are wrong. That will never work and the remote will simply not sense the command lines and the Apple TV will move slowly or very lacking in completeness.

The trick is quite simple and you only have to add up a new Apple computer  and set and activate  references for its buttons. You will also have to set its delays to 100 milliseconds. After doing this steps, go in Harmony remote's software and click Add device. Choose "Computer" and  two times "next". Now choose Apple and again the "next" button. In the box below type this words: Mac Mini 1.66GHz Intel Core Duo and press  next until you reach to the Main Screen again. From here, go to the Activities window and choose to add a new one manually. Press the Utility button and then the Generic Activity. Here you will be able to add or remove the devices that you don't need. For sure you will want to leave the TV, the Apple TV device, your computer or the amplifiers for the sound system. Press next until you're done.

To assign the correct buttons for the Apple TV device on the remote you will need to go to the "Apple TV activity" and click the "customize buttons" option. Than you will need just to go down and select your device and appropriate command lines. Now you are done. A simple and quick way to make your devices work properly together and let you enjoy your entertainment activities.

As an example, when you will need to access an interior part you will need to remove only the polycarbonate outer case. For the replace of the hard drive or the memory cards you will need to remove only its battery, following the instruction books that Apple provides with this device.

Released by Apple Inc., as a portable media player, in 2005, iPod Nano was designed with an implemented camera marketed by the same company. Since the first generation, iPod Nano it is using a flash memory, like the Shuffle iPod, but it is having a display with a 2.2 inch diagonal and a wheel that can be clicked, like the Classic iPod. Now, after 4 years since it was announced first time, it is at the 5th generation, which have the ability to  video recording, regarding to a microphone implemented for voice memo, a more larger screen and a pedometer.

The first generation had a small size, measuring 1.6 in width, 3,5 in length and 2,27 thick, weighting only 42 grams.  The screen was measuring only 38 mm and could display up to 65, 536 colors.

After only 9 months before the announced launch date they start to develop and design this product. The iPod Nano was first launched in two colors, the classical black and the bright white, with two size available: 2gigabytes which could store up to 500 songs and the 4 gigabytes size. At the start of 2006, Apple updated this line with a model that had only 1 gigabyte capacity.

The iPod Nano used integrated circuits instead of the usual chips  that are smaller and cheaper. Now, at the 5th generation, iPod Nano it is using a Portal Player PP5021C chip, which have a dual processor ARM 7TDMI. Yet, the people responded positive to this device and  Apple Inc. sold in only 17 days over one million units. Many have seen the release of iPod Nano, with the purpose to replace the iPod Mini, as a risky move, but they argued that it was pretty necessary because the competitors were starting to catch up their model in terms of features and design. They were right and the introducing on the market of iPod Nano was a real success. There were some incidents reported al over the world so they decided to investigate and upgrade that model.

Second generation was released on 12 September, in the year 2006. This type of iPod Nano had an aluminum case and a scratch resisting display. Apple iPhone Game

The OS X iPhone, the operating system used on the Apple's iPhones and iPods supports, as we already know, a lot of games. Thanks to the central processing unit used at their construction, to a great processor  and to the OpenGL for Embedded Systems technology, rendered by the PowerVR 3D graphics we are able to play even the hard games with a complicated graphic.

We can find on the market a lot of  game applications, specially coded for iPhone, but, most of them are available on the iTunes store, which can be accessed from both devices, the smart phone and the iPods.

Jet Car Stunts it is a game developed by True Axis and  was very anticipated before the official release. It is a funny 3D driving game, with two types of playing: the platform and the time trials.  The platform type represents a race, where the player drive the car on some successive roadways until he will reach the finish line. The time trials represent some circuits, needed to be finished in a certain amount of time, until the user will beat his own records. This game have  massive jumps, spiral roadways, floating platforms and mid-air hoops, asking the player to execute impossible maneuvers.

Eliminate started as a promotion of App Store after the release of the Warfare 2  game, but they extended this period until further notices. They recently updated the energy time of recharge which has been reduced from  240 minutes to 60. Thanks to this change, iPhone users are able to earn more credits because they will be energized often and buy another upgrades more faster. This FPS  (first person shooter) is one of the most played games and it can be downloaded for free by the iPhone users. Combining the classic death- match games with the RPG- style it is far away of a simple game, the action taking place on a lot of cycling maps.

First of all, those who have more credits, rule the world of Eliminate more easier than others. To be able to buy weapons and equipment you will need to spend some credits, which can be earned as you increase your levels. Also, with this credits, you can buy the available upgrades. You need  to be fully energized to sustain a match between you and a random opponent , fights which will bring you even more credits. You will start the game with a full battery of energy but it will decrease in time, forcing you to wait up to 60 minutes to be full again. But, despite your expectations, you will be able to play while you are out of energy, even you will not be able to progress.

If you think that you will not be able to defeat someone who play this game for a long time you are wrong, as Zincous, a game's star, proved. He defeated a player with a bigger level than him, with a better gear and weapons, 10 times in a row, without dying once, so, we can figure that the skill it is more important than the armors and rifles.

Because the winter it is almost here, iPhone developed a game who will introduce you into the snow atmosphere easily, named Snow Moto Racing, brought by the Resolution Interactive company. The earlier games, Aqua Moto Racing and  Dirt Moto Racing were developed by the same brand. This game it will be soon available on the App Store and will let us experiencing a beautiful adventure on a high speed snowmobile, while we will see splendid winter landscapes.  The developers listed some features like 6 race tracks, 14 levels to unlock, hidden bonus game mode or a local  multiplayer area, using the Bluetooth signal. It have some responsive and easy to use controls and it is very intuitive and fun.  At the wheel of an well- designed ATV we will be able to race our friends or play a single player version, driving trough trees and  a lot of piles of snow, just like in the old game for iPhone, the Dirt Moto Racing. The difficulty will increase along with the unlock of every level. The terrain looks nice and polished and  enhances the feeling of winter.
