Download iWeb Themes!

Skinning was a hobby of mine for a long time, but now I don't care about it anymore. For some people, it's a good way of wasting time and feeling proud of their computer's looks, while for others it's simply a way of feeling better while working with a computer. I am talking about "skinning" as in "using skins/themes in a program," don't be worried about the animals out there, all right?
Download iWeb Themes

iPresentee is one of those small companies into the software add-ons industry, and I must confess that I feel sorry about something - they only release content for the iLife and iWork applications. The fact that I don't care too much about the way my applications look these days doesn't mean I can't appreciate a good skin/theme, and the latest collection coming from the Lithuanian company looks really good!

If you're looking to download iWeb themes, here's what iPresentee has to offer: iWeb Themes 4.0, now adding five new themes to the old collection. These new themes are suggestively entitled Blossoms, Couple, Eyes Fire, Garden and Theatre.

To make things even more attractive, each time has ten templates to choose from, as it follows: Welcome, About Me, Photos, My Albums, Movie, Blog, Podcast, Blank, My Hobbies and News.

While each iWeb theme is priced at $10, you can get the set of five new ones for $25 or, if you want to get the best deal from iPresentee, you should take a look at the iWeb Suite package, with 20 iWeb Themes, 15 iWeb Themes for Business, 40 iWeb Animations and 115 Keynote 3D Stuff objects, all for a mere $60!

To close this report for those looking to download iWeb themes, here's what you need to use iWeb Themese or the iWeb Suite package: Mac OS X 10.3 Tiger or later, iWeb 2.0 (iLife 08) or iWeb 3.0 (iLife 09), and 50 MB of hard drive space. Other than that, you'll only have to download the themes and use the included installer, no worries about placing the files in the right place... so what you're waiting for, huh? :)

iBank 3 Got Updated

Look, I finally found one piece of "iSomething" not belonging to Apple, and still not targeted by any trial coming from the Cupertino giant! Banking for Macs, that's what I am talking about here, and the name of the application is - obviously - iBank.
iBank 3 Updated

If this sounds like something new to your years, then let me tell you that iBank was one of the runner-up apps for the Best Mac OS X Leopard Application in the 2007 Apple Design Awards, so if you're looking for a personal finance product, you should check this Quicken competitor, I can assure you it's worthy of your attention.

iBank 3 is a Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard app, and version 3.4.2 comes as a free update to iBank 3 users, while new ones will have to pay $60 to use it after the trial period ends.

Some of the most interesting features of iBank 3 are listed below:

- Interactive Graphs
- Cover Flow for Transactions
- Sync With Your iPhone
- Smart Portfolios
- Stock Performance Graph
- Tax Support
- Standard Reports

iBank 3.4.2 can be downloaded from the official product page, where you'll also find some older versions for Mac OS X 10.2, 10.3, and 10.4, as well as user manuals and a free widgets pack and some sample scripts.

Oh, yeah - one more thing! The program is currently available in English and French, and you'll need at least 512 MB of memory and 30 MB of disk space, while the minimum screen resolution needed is 1024x640. That's it, folks!

Bikini Babe Gallery For iPhone

posted in software news, by admin

Want to see a hot bikini babe gallery? Well, I guess most of you would give an affirmative answer to that one, but talking about bikini babes galleries isn't that interesting, after all. The reason should be obvious - these are things to look at and enjoy, not talk about'em!
Bikini Babe Gallery

The interesting part of today's story is that, this time, you're going to be the star of the bikini babe gallery! It doesn't really matter if you're a boy or a girl; in fact, I am sure boys will have more fun than girls with Bikini Babe Yourself, a great iPhone and iPod Touch app that just made it to the market.

This program works like a charm, accomplishing a very simple task - brings together your own picture and some bikini babe one, coming up with hilarious results, as you can see in the image above. More than just mixing two pictures, faces can be scaled and rotated to the right place with the help of your iPhone's multitouch features. Oh, yeah, your iPhone's or iPod's features, excuse me!

When it comes to sharing the funny result of your work, you can share your bikini babe gallery via Twitter, Tumblr, Comeks, or even email.

For now, there are only 12 different bikini girl templates, but I am sure future versions will add more and more hotties...;)

Priced at only $0.99, Bikini Babe Yourself 1.0 can be purchased through the Apple App Store, and works with all iPhone and iPod Touch devices released so far. Now, "your bikini babe gallery" will really be "yours," don't you think? Pretty cool! :)

Graphic Converter For Mac

posted in software news, by admin

Once upon a time, programs that were able to handle graphics files were like sports cars - few in number, and pretty expensive. I am not thinking only about the Mac platform, because the first image viewer/graphic converter that I remember is the SEA, coming from Photodex, way back in the MS-DOS age. That one was an awesome program for those days, and even now, Photodex has a great tool called CompuPic, released over 6 years ago, but still way ahead of many competitors.
GraphicConverter 6.4

Anyway, the above was just a little slice of my huge computer graphics memories pie, so I'll leave memories aside and move to the topic I have in mind - a graphic converter for Mac. Yes, today it seems I'm in a "Mac tools spree," and I really hope they'll come in handy for you and your beloved Apple computer. The one in the spotlight now is simply called GraphicConverter, and comes from a German software company, namely Lemke Software.

GraphicConverter reached version number 6.4.1, and allows image browsing, metadata editing, slideshows, and image conversion for more than 200 file formats, but it doesn't just stop there. This last version comes with a lot of updated features and improvements, with some of the best new features listed below:

- Support for bio-formats (with the help of the licensed bio-formats sdk from Glencoe software) (UB)
- Metadata change in the context menu of the browser works with other formats like TIFF (UB)
- Import of NV12
- Import of images of .CWK files

Currently, the supported languages are German, English, French, Danish, Sweden, Italian, Spanish, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Czech, Dutch, and Catalan, and the registered users of GraphicConverter 6.x will get it as a free update, while new ones will have to pay $34.95 for a license.

The greatest part of the story is that this graphic converter for Mac also works with oldies, since there are three versions - Universal Binary, X, and Classic, with the first one requiring at least Mac OS 10.4.4, the second - 10.1.5, while GraphicConverter Classic will work on Macs using OS 8.6-9.2.2. Now, that's what I call "supporting old hardware," and I am sure there are some Mac users who really appreciate it.

Oh, yeah - I nearly forgot that - to purchase or download the trial version of this graphic converter for Mac, just go to the official GraphicConverter page.

System Cleaner For Mac

I always hate cleaning my room. I know that I'm not the only one, although I really appreciate those who enjoy doing such things. After all, one of those things that can make you happy is to work and live in a nice place, where everything is where it should be, and dust can't be found anywhere. Well, that's a dream, but if you spend some time (or money) to make it real, you'll surely have a better life.
System Cleaner for Mac

The same thing can be said about computers, but fortunately for me, I can keep my computer much cleaner than my room(anyway, don't think that I have a bunch of stuff thrown around, and spiders crawling on the wall), even though I use Windows XP for most of the time. While system cleaning for Windows is a topic that could easily fill a Bible-style book, today we're going to talk about finding a system cleaner for Mac.

Silence. Basically, that's what should be said about a system cleaner for Mac. The obvious reason is that you don't really need a system cleaner for Mac, since installing and removing apps is done simply by dragging them around, but some of them are leaving traces, although this is not happening as frequently as on the Windows platform.

Heh, it seems Synium Software wants to make some noise in this area, because they released a new version of the CleanApp system cleaner for Mac at the end of last week, bringing the current label of the application to 3.1 and adding a bunch of bug fixes and improvements.

The main features of this application include the following:

- Graphical View for Disk Usage
- CleanApp optionally shows and deletes related files when dragging an application to the trash
- Improved logging
- Exclude applications from being monitored
- Save archives to CD/DVD

Available in English, German and Dutch, CleanApp is also expected to get more languages as free updates in the near future. This system cleaner for Mac is priced at only $13(it seems there are no superstitious people at Synium Software, haha!) and requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 Tiger or Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard or higher. Even more, we're talking about Universal Binary code here, which runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs, and if you're one of those who get a headache when seeing iTunes, here's the download link.

I hope you'll enjoy cleaning your Mac with CleanApp... and that you're not superstitious about $13 products! ;)
